We all heard the ‘rumours’ that that might be true, and more and more publicity is raising the awareness about the importance of sleep if we want to enjoy a healthy life once we reach a certain age and even retire.
On the other hand, I am really excited and looking forward to working in collaboration with the World Sleep Society thought being a delegate of the World Sleep Day again in 2019.
‘Healthy Sleep, Healthy Ageing’ is exactly what their slogan is for next year which is a fantastic opportunity to talk about a slightly different impact of sleep on our futures.
Of course my work doesn’t just start next year, the focus on healthy ageing through sleep is always on my agenda especially when working with clients to overcome their sleep issues including insomnia.
But when we team up and collectively work on raising awareness, it makes a bigger impact overall.
Last year I was only one of the over 282 delegates in 55 countries who joined together to promote healthy sleep, which is absolutely amazing.
